Limitation of Liability
User Equipment

Maximum Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KERiT Cloud's total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

Users agree to:
- Not use services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Not host content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Not engage in activities that could harm the service or other users

Intermediary Responsibilities & Content Moderation
As a hosting intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, KERiT Cloud:
Due Diligence Obligations
- Publishes rules and regulations, privacy policy, and user agreement
- Informs users not to host unlawful content as specified in Rule 3(1)(b) of IT Rules, 2021
- Appoints a Grievance Officer to address user complaints
- Removes or disables access to unlawful content within 72 hours of receiving actual knowledge or upon being notified by appropriate government authorities
- Provides users with mechanism to report violations
Takedown Process
Upon receiving a valid legal notice, court order, or notification from government authorities regarding unlawful content, KERiT Cloud will:
- Verify the authenticity of the notice or order
- Remove or disable access to the identified content within the legally mandated timeframe
- Where legally required and appropriate, inform the affected user about the action taken
- Preserve relevant data as required by law or upon request from law enforcement
Cooperation with Law Enforcement
KERiT Cloud cooperates with law enforcement agencies and complies with lawful requests for information in accordance with applicable laws and procedures. We may disclose user information when:
