Why Kerit Cloud

The database host that
gets out of your way.

Fast hardware, real backups, real security and a real panel — priced for developers, not enterprises.

AMD EPYC + NVMe

Every database runs on high-clock AMD EPYC cores and NVMe storage. Low query latency even under real production load.

Daily backups + restore

Automated daily snapshots with point-in-time restore. Restores land in a new database, so a bad migration is never fatal.

SSL + private networking

Reach your database privately from other Kerit Cloud services, or open SSL-enforced public access with IP allowlisting.

A real control panel

Copy connection strings, manage users, browse backups and watch live metrics — no server administration required.

14 global regions

Place your database next to your app — India, US, Canada, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia. Low latency where it counts.

DDoS protected

Every node sits behind a 17 Tbps filtered network. Attacks are absorbed upstream, long before they reach your data.

Managed control panel

Your database, on a dashboard.
Not a support ticket.

Every managed database gets its own SSL-secured control panel on our official billing — connection details, backups, users and live metrics, all self-serve.

The difference

Managed vs.
a database you babysit

Self-hosting a database means backups, patching, TLS and monitoring are all on you. Here's what managed changes.

Kerit Cloud managed

We run it, you query it

Provisioned in under a minute with backups, security and monitoring already handled — you just connect.

  • Automated daily backups + restore
  • SSL and private networking by default
  • Live metrics & a real control panel
  • Scale plans with one click
  • Patching & maintenance handled
  • Copy-ready connection strings
  • Migration help on Discord
Self-hosted / DIY

Everything is your job

A raw VPS and a database you install yourself — and every failure mode becomes a late-night page.

  • Backups you have to build and test
  • Manual TLS & firewall setup
  • No metrics until you wire them up
  • Resizing means downtime & migration
  • Security patches are on you
  • Connection tuning by trial and error
  • You are the on-call engineer
Global network

14 regions. Put your data
next to your app.

Co-locate your database with your bot, server or VPS for the lowest round-trip latency. Every region runs NVMe with up to 10 Gbps throughput.

Frequently asked questions

Database hosting, answered

Engines, backups, connections and pricing — quick answers. Still stuck? Ask on Discord.

01Which databases can I host?

Three fully managed engines: Redis for in-memory caching and queues, MongoDB for flexible JSON documents, and PostgreSQL for rock-solid relational data. All run on AMD EPYC NVMe with daily backups and a 99.9% uptime SLA.

02Are the databases fully managed?

Yes. We provision, secure, patch, back up and monitor every database. You get a ready-to-use connection string, a control panel for backups, users and metrics, and SSL — no server administration required.

03How do backups and restore work?

Every database gets automated daily snapshots with point-in-time restore. Restoring creates a new database rather than overwriting the original, so a bad migration is never fatal. Retention scales with your plan — 3, 7 or 14 days.

04Can I connect from outside Kerit Cloud?

Yes. Each database supports private networking for your other Kerit Cloud services and, optionally, SSL-enforced public connections with IP allowlisting — toggle it from the panel and whitelist your IP.

05How much does it cost?

Managed Redis, MongoDB and PostgreSQL start at ₹29/mo with daily backups and SSL included, and the same plans cover all three engines. A free database is also bundled with every paid bot, Minecraft and Lavalink plan.

06Can I migrate an existing database in?

Yes. Import over your connection string with the standard tooling — redis-cli, mongorestore or pg_restore — or open a ticket on Discord and our team will handle the migration for you.

07Does Redis persist data or is it cache-only?

Your choice. Redis runs as a pure in-memory cache by default, or you can enable persistence (RDB snapshots and AOF) from the panel so data survives restarts.

08Can I scale up later?

Yes. Move to a bigger plan from the panel at any time — your connection string stays the same, so there's nothing to reconfigure in your app.
