The engines

Three engines. One platform.

Every engine runs on AMD EPYC NVMe with TLS, a private network, daily backups and a real control panel. Pick the database your stack already speaks.

Redis

Redis

in-memory · cache & queues

A sub-millisecond in-memory store for caching, sessions, rate limiting, queues and pub/sub — the fastest path to a responsive app.

  • TLS + password auth on a private network
  • Optional persistence (RDB + AOF)
  • Pub/sub, streams & LRU eviction
  • Works with ioredis, redis-py & more

MongoDB

MongoDB

flexible document store

A schemaless document database for application data — flexible collections with rich indexes, an aggregation pipeline and point-in-time restore.

  • SSL + private network by default
  • Indexes & aggregation pipeline
  • Point-in-time restore
  • Works with Mongoose & native drivers

Standalone plans

A dedicated database, on its own.

For when one shared instance isn't enough — your own isolated Redis, MongoDB or PostgreSQL node with dedicated RAM and storage.

Pick any of the three engines. Same backups, same regions, same reliability every way.

Already on a paid plan? A Redis, MongoDB or PostgreSQL database with daily backups is included free with every paid bot, Minecraft, or Lavalink plan — no extra purchase needed. The plans below are for a dedicated, standalone database.

From the terminal

Connect in one command.

Every database ships with a ready-to-use connection string. Drop it into your .env and you're querying in seconds.

Questions

Database hosting, answered.

01Which database engines are supported?
Redis 7, MongoDB 7 and PostgreSQL 16 — pick the right tool for the job. All three are available on every plan and included free with paid bot, Minecraft, and Lavalink hosting.
02How often are backups taken, and how long are they kept?
Daily automated snapshots for every database. Retention scales with plan: 3 days on Hobby, 7 days on Standard, 14 days on Scale. Restoring creates a new database rather than overwriting the original.
03Is the free database really free, with no catch?
Yes — one Redis, MongoDB or PostgreSQL database with daily backups is included at no extra cost on every paid bot, Minecraft, or Lavalink plan. The standalone plans above are only needed if you want a dedicated database outside of that.
04Can I connect from outside kerit.cloud?
Yes. Each database can optionally accept SSL-enforced public connections in addition to private networking — toggle it from the panel and whitelist your IP.
05Can I migrate an existing database in?
Yes — import over your connection string with the standard tooling — redis-cli, mongorestore or pg_restore — or open a ticket on Discord if you'd like us to handle the migration for you.
06What happens if I exceed my connection limit?
New connections are queued briefly and then rejected with a standard "too many connections" error from the engine — existing connections are never dropped. Upgrade your plan at any time to raise the limit.
