Lavalink Plans Compared: Starter to Enterprise
A side-by-side guide to Kerit Cloud's managed and self-managed Lavalink plans — resources, plugins, support and uptime — and how to match a plan to your bot's load.
On this page
Kerit Cloud offers two families of Lavalink hosting: managed, where the node is installed, configured and maintained for you, and self-managed, where you get a server with root access. Both run on AMD EPYC with NVMe storage and DDoS protection, in 14 regions. This guide lays out every plan and how to pick one.
Managed plans
Every managed plan includes LavaSrc and SponsorBlock pre-installed, DDoS protection, automatic restarts and a latency target under 38 ms. Upgrades are live — no downtime and no reconfiguration.
| Plan | Price | RAM | CPU | NVMe | Plugins | Support | Extras | Uptime |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | ₹59/mo | 512 MB | 100% | 5 GB | LavaSrc, SponsorBlock | — | Auto restart | 99.9% |
| Premium | ₹79/mo | 1 GB | 150% | 10 GB | + LavaSearch | Standard | — | 99.9% |
| Elite | ₹149/mo | 2 GB | 250% | 15 GB | All 4 incl. Lyrics | Priority | Most popular | 99.9% |
| Apex | ₹299/mo | 4 GB | 350% | 25 GB | All + custom plugin support | Priority | Dedicated IP | 99.99% |
| Enterprise | ₹499/mo | 6 GB | 500% | 35 GB | All + custom plugin installs | 24/7 elite | Dedicated IP + region | 99.99% |
CPU is expressed as a share of a core: 100% is one full core, 500% is five.
Starter — small bots
For small bots and single-server communities. 512 MB and a full core handle a handful of concurrent players comfortably, with Spotify links through LavaSrc and sponsor skipping out of the box.
Premium — growing bots
Double the memory and 50% more CPU for bots in multiple guilds with queues, plus LavaSearch for rich search and autocomplete.
Elite — the best value
2 GB, two and a half cores, all four plugins including Lyrics, and priority support. The right plan for most established music bots, and the one we recommend when in doubt.
Apex — high-traffic public bots
4 GB and 350% CPU for bots with large queues and many simultaneous players, a dedicated IP (useful when sources rate-limit shared addresses), custom plugin support and a 99.99% uptime target.
Enterprise — maximum power
6 GB and five cores, custom plugin installs, 24/7 elite support, a dedicated IP and a private region. For the largest bots, or for consolidating several nodes into one.
Self-managed plans
Every self-managed plan includes root SSH access, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with Java 17 pre-installed (Debian available on request), NVMe storage and DDoS protection.
| Plan | Price | RAM | vCPU | NVMe | Bandwidth | Extras | Uptime |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | ₹49/mo | 512 MB | 1 | 10 GB | 1 TB | Root SSH, Java 17 | 99.9% |
| Pro | ₹99/mo | 1 GB | 2 | 20 GB | 2 TB | Priority network | 99.9% |
| Ultra | ₹299/mo | 2 GB | 4 | 40 GB | 5 TB | Dedicated bandwidth, priority support | 99.99% |
Self-managed plans give more CPU and storage per rupee because you do the operations work: installing Lavalink, writing application.yml, choosing plugins and JVM flags, and handling updates. In return you get full control — any plugin, multiple Lavalink instances on one server, your own monitoring, and room to run other software alongside.
Managed or self-managed?
Choose managed if you want music working without running a server, rely on standard plugins, and want updates — especially frequent YouTube plugin updates — handled for you.
Choose self-managed if you want root access, custom configuration, unusual plugins, several instances or your own monitoring stack, and you’re comfortable with Linux and Java.
Managed vs self-managed Lavalink goes deeper. You can also switch later: moving from self-managed to managed is handled by ticket, with your credentials and config migrated so your bot doesn’t need new connection settings.
Matching a plan to your load
Lavalink’s needs are driven by concurrent playing players, filters and playlist loading — not by how many servers your bot is in.
| Your bot | Managed | Self-managed |
|---|---|---|
| Personal or single-community bot | Starter | Basic |
| Growing bot, several active guilds | Premium | Pro |
| Established bot, busy evenings, filters in use | Elite | Ultra |
| Large public bot, large queues | Apex | Ultra, or several nodes |
| Very large bot or consolidated nodes | Enterprise or custom | Custom |
Watch these signals to know when to move up:
- Frame deficits in
/v4/statsduring busy hours — listeners are hearing stutters. - CPU load close to the plan’s limit at peak.
- Heap usage near its maximum, with GC warnings in logs.
- New needs — lyrics, custom plugins, a dedicated IP or a stronger SLA.
How much RAM does Lavalink need? explains how to read these numbers.
Regions
All plans are available across 14 regions: Mumbai, Delhi, Virginia, Ashburn, Washington DC, New York, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Canada, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Singapore and Johor. Place the node near your listeners for the best audio — see choosing a Lavalink region.
Billing
Every plan has a 3-day money-back guarantee and accepts UPI, PayPal, cryptocurrency and cards. For needs beyond the listed plans — a dedicated node, custom RAM, a private region or an SLA above the listed targets — the team builds custom setups.
Summary
Managed Lavalink runs from Starter (₹59, 512 MB) to Enterprise (₹499, 6 GB), with LavaSrc and SponsorBlock on every tier, LavaSearch from Premium, Lyrics from Elite, and a dedicated IP, custom plugins and a 99.99% target from Apex. Self-managed runs from Basic (₹49) to Ultra (₹299) with root SSH and Java 17 ready to go. Pick by concurrent players and the features you need, place the node near your listeners, and upgrade when frame deficits or CPU say so.
