Features

Everything Discord does

Every Discord ID embeds its creation time — this reads it straight from the number.

No API, no token

The timestamp is extracted from the ID's own bits, so there is no Discord API call and no rate limit.

Works for any ID

User, message, channel, role, server or any other Discord snowflake.

Three time formats

Shows the creation time in UTC, your local time and Unix seconds, plus a human-readable age.

Entirely local

The ID is decoded in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

How to use

Decode an ID in two steps

1

Enable Developer Mode in Discord, then right-click anything and Copy ID.

2

Paste the ID into the box.

3

Read the creation time in UTC, local and Unix formats.

FAQ

Questions & answers

Everything you might wonder about this tool.

01How can an ID contain a timestamp?
Discord IDs are snowflakes: the upper bits encode the milliseconds since Discord's epoch (1 Jan 2015). Shifting the ID right by 22 bits and adding the epoch gives the creation time.
02Do I need a bot token?
No. Because the time is embedded in the ID itself, no API call or authentication is needed.
03Is any of my data uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript — your input never leaves your device, so it is safe to use with private tokens, config and source code.
04Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is completely free with no signup, no install and no usage limits. Open the page and it works instantly on desktop or mobile.
